  • Are you a good listener with a concern for those who are ill, isolated or elderly? We are currently looking for volunteers who can give of their time (1 hour a week) to visit those who are unable to connect to the community due to immobility or illness. Visits would take place in the person's home or senior's residence and can be arranged according to your own schedule.     • St. John Fisher is one of nine churches in Pointe-Claire providing resources to operate C.A.C. This organization helps those in need with food, medical supplies and, in some instances, bill payments. Vouchers are also provided to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and meat (tobacco products or alcohol excluded). The funding for the vouchers is possible through the generosity of parishioners via the Helping Others collection. The food is from the C.A.C. pantry which parishioners from the various churches in Pointe-Claire help keep stocked with the non-perishable items brought in at weekend services.
