Montreal Catholic Singles
A member of our parish is a co-organizer of the Montreal Catholic Singles (MCS) group. The Montreal Catholic Singles group is composed of Catholic singles looking for like-minded adults willing to get out and do all sorts of activities together. This is an opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, or even find that special person to whom spiritual life is important.

H.O.P.E. for Women
Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus (council 6096) meets on the first Wednesday of

Ladies' Group
The Ladies’ Group meets monthly in the Parish Hall. Among the
activities run by the Ladies’ Group are: The Annual Parish Bazaar,
Shrove Tuesday Supper, Poverty Dinner during Lent, Tuesday morning
gatherings for ‘koffee klatch’ and craft workshops, as well as
receptions for various parish events. For more information, please

Social Action in the Parish
C.A.R.E. Apartment
Christian Action
St. John Fisher is one of seven churches in Pointe-Claire providing
resources to operate C.A.C. This organization helps those in need with
food, medical supplies and, in some instances, bill payments. Vouchers
are also provided to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and meat
(cigarettes or alcohol excluded). The funding for the vouchers is
possible through the generosity of parishioners via the Helping Others
collection. The food is from the C.A.C. pantry which parishioners from
the various churches help keep stocked with the non-perishable items
brought in at weekend services. For information, please call the C.A.C.

Silmarils Leadership Girls Club
Extreme Youth Group
The Extreme Youth Group meets every third Saturday of the month. We usually meet from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. It is a group of 11 to 18 year olds. We play boardgames, outdoor games, talk, and everyone brings something to share (food or drink) with the group.
